Overview

The following article describes the steps to access the Service Experience Insights dashboard directly

  • The Service Experience Insights dashboard is directly accessible at https://dashboard.insights.edgelq.com or indirectly through the NTT Services Portal.
  • The type of access depends on the primary NTT company providing the Service Experience Insights service to your company.
  • New users will be informed before the first login of which access method is enabled for their account.e

    • Direct Access
      • Most direct access users receive an email invitation to create login credentials
      • Multi-factor authentification (MFA) is required to access the Service Experience Insights dashboard.
      • Users with SAML-integrated accounts are only required to set up MFA
    • NTT Service Portal
      • Access to all services in the NTT Service Portal uses existing service portal credentials
      • Links to the Service Experience Insights dashboard are found in the top Service Portal menu or natively integrated into services like the Managed Campus Networks Cockpit
      • Contact your NTT Ltd account representative for the Service Portal access process for your company

Creating login credentials - invitation email

Step 1: Check email for the Service Experience Insights invitation email. Contact the project admin if you did not receive an expected user invitation email.

Step 2: Click to be redirected to the login page. Follow these steps to create login credentials and establish MFA.

2a. Click the link

  • The login screen defaults to login for existing users
  • Click the Sign Up link at the top right of the screen

2b. Enter the email address where the invitation was sent and create a strong password

2c. Enable MFA

  • Open or install an MFA application on your mobile phone
  • Scan the QR code
  • Enter the passcode and click the icon to continue

2d. Save the recovery code

  • It is important to save the recovery code to login if your mobile phone is not available
  • See Resetting MFA for more information about recovering and resetting MFA
  • Click icon to continue

2e. MFA successfully enabled. Click Continue

Step 3: Verify email

  • Check your email for the verification email and click the button or link to verify your email

  • Click in the email verification modal

Step 4: Login

  • Enter user name and password
  • Open MFA application and fetch the passcode
  • Enter the passcode and click the icon to continue

Step 5: Accept project invitation

  • Users are invited to join projects and must accept or decline the project invitation
  • The project invitation modal appears once for the new user’s first project and for subsequent project invitations in the future
  • Multiple project invitations may appear in the project invitation modal

Success

  • Follow step 4 and 5 each time you login

Login with SAML integration

  • Creating login credentials is not required for users with Azure Active Directory (ADD) SAML integration enabled for their account

  • Login redirects to Azure ADD MFA approval screen
  • Open MFA application
  • Approve push notification or enter the passcode

Step 5: Accept project invitation

  • Users are invited to join projects and must accept or decline the project invitation
  • The project invitation modal appears once for the new user’s first project and subsequent project invitations in the future
  • Multiple project invitations may appear in the project invitation modal

Success

  • Follow step 4 and 5 each time you log in


Resetting MFA

  • MFA can be reset by users who saved the MFA recovery code generated when they created their login credentials. This process is the most secure and fastest method of resetting MFA.
  • If the passcode is lost, user accounts must be manually reset by the NTT support team
    • Contact your NTT support team requesting MFA reset through the established NTT support channels for our company
    • Repeat the Creating login credentials process starting at the login screen. The invitation and email confirmation emails are not sent

2a. Enter user name and password

2b. Click Use the recovery code at the bottom of the login screen

2c-2d. Enter the saved recovery code

2e. Open your authenticator application and scan the QR code

2f. Save the new recovery code and click

2g. Click Continue
