The computer on which the agent is installed constantly measures the network quality while the power is on. By clicking the watchdog icon, you can open the agent to see the network quality.
There are the following four operating statuses of agents.
|Running||Software is running normally|
|Update unavailable||An update is available (When the automatic update is turned on, it will be updated automatically)|
|Stopped||Software is stopped (To start again, click the Start button on the setting screen)|
The Watchdog Agent provides insight into the internet quality you experience.
Open the agent to see how hardware, WiFi, Router/Gateway, and ISP shape your internet quality. The color of the icon shows three internet quality states: normal, caution, and warning. The yellow dotted line on the bar graph indicates caution, and the red dotted line indicates a warning. Watchdog provides helpful tips for understanding metrics and possible fixes.

CPU and memory usage comparison
|Good||CPU and memory usage are normal|
|Caution||CPU and/or memory usage is higher than normal. |

|Warning||Your computer's CPU and memory usage may be degrading your internet quality. |
Closing applications and restarting your computer frees-up processing resources, may improve the internet quality you're experiencing.

Moving closer to the WiFi antenna or restarting the WiFi may improve the internet quality you're experiencing. Only related to signal degradations.

Restarting the WiFi and router/gateway may improve the internet quality you're experiencing.

The Watchdog Agent performs hourly 4mb download and 4mb uploads to measure your internet speed to the nearest Watchdog cloud-hosted speed test target. Click the Run Speed Test button to check internet speed at any time. The result is added to the collected time-series data for the agent. Clickat any time to check your internet speed in real-time.
Rate the internet quality you’re experiencing to help your IT team identify problems. When a rating is submitted, an alert is triggered to a Slack or Microsoft Team channel monitored by the IT team.
